Craig was born in Blackburn Lancashire and sang with the Lancashire youth choir during his school years where he also learned to play the recorder, cornet & clarinet. After leaving school, he went onto learn piano and moved to Wales in 1987 to study piano tuning & restoration near Caerphilly. After graduating in 1990, he then moved to Nottingham to study musical instrument electronics until 1992.
He returned to Wales to begin a professional career as a piano tuner, working for a large music store in Cardiff, before going self-employed in 2000.
Craig decided to rediscover his original interest in music by joining Con Voce in 2008 and has enjoyed doing so ever since.
